We’re looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer with a Mechanical Bias to join our Kier Facilities Management Team based in the Wiltshire area. Supporting the delivery of a Facilities Management Hard Technical Services solution for our prestigious client, Wiltshire County Council, covering buildings across Wiltshire
Location: Mobile - covering domestic and commercial sites across Wiltshire, with a base office of North Bradley, Trowbridge
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Responsibilities
As a Multi Skilled Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be working within the Facilities Management Team, supporting them in various mechanical maintenance tasks.
Your day to day will include:
- Fabric, Mechanical and plumbing PPM’s
- Reactive Maintenance as and where required
- Assisting in ensuring Kier deliver a safe, customer focused, cost effective, efficient, and compliant service to meet its contractual and legal obligations
- Maintenance tasks include but are not limited to, tap testing, flushing & fixing, legionella tests, pump/compressor fault diagnosis, assessing plant equipment, fire alarm, emergency lighting, HVAC, AHU’s, and other general maintenance works within your abilities such as minor fabric, electric & heating repairs.
- Working on complex commercial heating and low temperature heated water systems
What are we looking for?
This role of Multi Skilled Engineer is great for you if you:
- Have previous experience in commercial building services specifically on a mobile contract.
- Have extensive experience within Commercial / Domestic Plumbing, Heating and fabric maintenance.
- Can conduct a variety of building & facilities maintenance tasks, including, but not limited to, electrics & lighting, water & plumbing. Fault finding and reactive repairs experience are desired.
