About the role
Do you pride yourself on your outstanding problem-solving skills and possess a high level of organisational skills? We’re looking for an Executive Assistant on a 12-month fixed term contract to support our Group CEO. This role requires someone who can operate in a professional, responsive manner where you will enable the effective and efficient running of the Group CEO’s schedule. You will work in partnership with other Executive Assistants based globally, providing seamless support and collaborative, cross-functional organisation.
What you’ll be doing
You will act as a confidante and highly trusted advisor to the management team, provide sound advice and thought. Building strong relationship is key as you work with Executives and their assistants, working collaboratively to ensure they are supported to meet the complex demands of their role.
Day to day you will be providing sophisticated calendar management and you will prioritise inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts and potential challenges, so you’ll be someone who can make judgments and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements. Your work will interface internally and externally where you will liaise with a variety of stakeholders, employees and third parties to schedule meeting and events.
Using your excellent communication skills you may be required to prepare documents in a timely manner, write, draft and proofread correspondence as well as organise structured meetings, distribute meeting minutes, agendas and meeting packs.
Our organisation is global and the Group CEO will often travel to the various locations across the world, so you will manage complex travel arrangements on his behalf. You’ll become familiar with the detailed needs of the executive travellers, where you will create travel itineraries and be available during travel times to quickly address any last-minute changes or cancellations.
What you’ll bring
You’ll have an eye for detail, someone who can manage multiple priorities and enjoys working in a fast paced role. You will also have:
  • Experience supporting a CEO and/or Board Level Directors providing hands on support to Chief Executive Officer
  • Strong experience in an EA role supporting Executives in a fast-paced organisation
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to be adaptable
  • Able to build effective relationships with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
  • Excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation when working with management, visitors and colleagues
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills with the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations
  • Experience in an international organisation ideally in the technology or telecoms industry
