Job Title: Electrical Technician – Manufacturing
Location: Templecombe
We're hiring 20 Technicians to work on a new a shift in Templecombe supporting the manufacture our Towed Array product
The role:
Due to demand we’re looking for a large number of experienced Manufacturing Technicians to join a new shift pattern within our Maritime Mission Systems business unit in Templecombe. Utilising your experience in wiring and soldering you will be performing manufacturing tasks in accordance with engineering drawings and documents.
The hours:
This is a 37 hour week working 9.25 hours a day, 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday). The start time is 3:30pm and finish time is 1:15am the following morning (this includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch break). Overtime is normally available on Friday and Saturday and paid at time and a half.
Shift Uplifts:
What you'll do:
Manufacture electrical assemblies on time and to quality requirements
Escalate blockers and issues to the team leader
Escalate Health and safety issues to the team leader
Ensure 5S standards are met
Ensure any quality non-conformances are logged and escalated
Experience required:
In line with Thales' Baseline Security requirements, candidates will be asked to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK and employment and/or education history for up to three years.
