The trainee role is at Band 7, with uplift to a Band 8a on successful completion of the Masters programme and relevant competencies.

What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have a strong team work ethic, excellent communication skills, sense of accountability and responsibility, accompanied by an ability to work under considerable pressure at times. You should be able to work effectively in an environment with frequent interruptions and within stressful, unpredictable situations including responding to and solving urgent and emergency situations on a nightly basis. What you’ll do
Successful applicants must have the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of the multi-disciplinary team, and influence the development of the service. Alongside expert knowledge and clinical skills you will be expected to demonstrate an ability to practice at an advanced level. The ACP is accountable for independent clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients with undiagnosed and undifferentiated conditions across all settings in the Out of Hours period.
For the ACP role the candidate will have an Advanced Clinical Practice MSc or an equivalent MSc and be a Non Medical Prescriber. For the trainee ACP role the candidate will have a first degree or equivalent (120 level 6 credits or a portfolio ratified by a University as equivalent to a 1stdegree) and extensive experience in an acute health care setting. For both roles the candidate will have evidence of teaching, supervision and assessment skills and must be able to process and present complex information and adapt their communication to a wide variety of patient abilities and needs.

Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.
Lincoln Hospital is a thriving university city, and with the opening of the new medical school, it provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service. This district general hospital serves the city of Lincoln and the North Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
Louth Hospital is set on the edge of the Wolds and serves the communities of Louth and the local area. It provides a number of services, including an outpatient department, diagnostic and surgical procedures, as well as a surgical ward.
