Job Description
The role of the CAMHS Crisis Liason Practitioner is to provide timely assessments and brief interventions to Children and Young People who present in a crisis.
The purpose of this role is to provide timely assessment of children and young people who present in crisis.
They will provide support, advice and education to the Emergency Departments/Paediatric Wards/General Wards to build knowledge and skills of staff within these settings in the care and treatment of children and young people with mental health problems, and to ensure timely and effective treatment and discharge.
The post holder will manage their own workload, and work within clearly defined occupational policies and procedures.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
