Job Description
A high growth Retail Business located in the Warrington area are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance function due to the departments expansion. Your duties in this Accounts Payable Specialist position will include
o Processing invoices to purchase ledger.
o Liaise with suppliers for any payment related queries.
o Maintain supplier bank details information, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
o Process new supplier requests.
o Point of contact for both internal and external payments queries.
o Supplier statement reconciliations.
o Creditors reporting.
o Preparation of supplier payment runs.
o Making ad hoc payments and writing cheques.
o Point of contact for both internal and external payments queries.
o Coding and posting of payments leaving the bank.
o Process and maintain Direct Debit mandates.
As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will also have exposure to
o CAPEX administration.
o Input to weekly and monthly reporting as appropriate.
o Support the Banking & Payments Manager with ad hoc projects.
o Filing of bank statements and other paperwork.
o Support with bank reconciliations as needed.
