Senior Marketing Executive

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the rejuvenated Odyssey Complex. As part of the Odyssey (OTC) group the post holder will work collaboratively across the Odyssey Trust, SSE Arena, W5, Stena Line Belfast Giants and the newly refreshed Odyssey complex (formerly known as the Odyssey Pavilion). Working to the Marketing Manager, this post will play a critical role in delivering first-class marketing campaigns and driving business to the Odyssey site.

SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential Criteria

• A 3rd level qualification in a relevant field [marketing, communications, PR, journalism, or business] with 2+ years’ experience in a marketing role which must include campaign delivery.
• Plus
• Experience of creating and executing marketing campaigns for an experience, product or service.
• Experience of empowering, coaching and training team members.
• Experience of working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience of producing marketing campaigns and reports.
• Experience in creating strategic brand content for diverse and demanding audiences.
• Strong organisational skills and IT literate.
• A positive, hands-on person who likes to work collaboratively.
• Expertise in the ever-changing social media landscape, and provide strategic input for marketing plans.
• Experience of planning and prioritising resources to meet challenging deadlines.
• A solid understand of the user experience, accessibility, writing for the web and meeting user needs with content.
• Experience of reporting on business and marketing analytics.
• Excellent understanding of demographic data and customer profiles to identify target audiences and effective channels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• A willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the demands of the role.

Desirable Criteria

• Professional membership of CIM, CIPR or other relevant representative membership bodies.
• Experience of using a CRM system.

Salary
£26,000 - £28,000 per annum
