We are a leading player in the sales and letting industry, offering top-notch services to our clients. We are currently in search of a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our vibrant team.

Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. The Bookkeeper's role will involve working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments. Our ideal candidate holds a Finance degree (preferably followed by accounting CPE courses) and is familiar with accounting software packages.

Responsibilities:
1. Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.

2. Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.

3. Bring the books to the trial balance stage.

4. Handle monthly payroll using accounting software.

5. Perform partial checks of the posting process.

6. Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.

7. Process accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner.

8. Coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial data.

9. Keep up to date with financial policies, regulation and legislation.

10. Maintain records of assets and liabilities.

11. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.

Requirements:
1. Proven bookkeeping experience (minimum of 1 year).

2. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.

3. Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.

4. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

5. Proficient in MS Office and popular accounting software.

6. Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.

7. Knowledge and understanding of the sales and letting industry is a plus.

8. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
