Nurse Assessor – 6 months FTC – DBS Check Required Location: Birmingham & Solihull Hours: Full-Time Salary/Benefits: Up to £434 p/day Only candidates with DBS Checks will be considered for this role. We are hiring for a Nurse Assessor on a 6 month FTC that will help the business by supporting the team to progress and completion of community assessments, completion of thorough mental capacity assessments and applications to the Court of Protection. The job holder will be familiar with working in diverse situations which require specialist experience, expertise, and sensitivity.
Main Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for leading Teams Meeting.
- Keep up to date with changes in law, policies and processes and systems in relation to the post and share with relevant parties.
- Drafting reports summarising status on issues, appraising outcomes, and providing progress reports for the Head of The Department.
- Ensure the data collected is analysed, reported by the team as appropriate and monitor the processing of data and information.
- Take responsibility for ensuring own clinical records are accurate, contemporaneous, and maintained in accordance with the standards set out in relevant professional Guidance and CCG Policy.
- Responsible for proposing and drafting changes, implementation and interpretation to policies, guidelines, and service level agreements the service.
- Be responsible for reporting progress, challenges, and key issues to Senior Leaders across the company.
- Promote equality and value diversity in line with trust policy.
- Maintain professional registration and ensure that the key principles of the registration are adhered to.
- To have good knowledge of effective and efficient approaches to treatment, challenging accepted practice, and propose alternatives where appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Understanding of leading the personalisation agenda.
- Knowledge and understanding in leading the implementation of Personal Health Budgets services.
- Knowledge and understanding in leading the planning and delivery of the Liberty Protection.
- Knowledge and understanding of who “pays” and responsible commissioner.
- Knowledge and understanding of the mental health act and the legal responsibilities.
- Knowledge and understanding in the planning of transition from children to adult’s services and the appropriate application of the national framework.
- Knowledge of leading section 75 arrangements process and implementation.
