The role:

The Supplier Relationship Manager is responsible for the Global Learning Academy’s supplier and procurement management process, coordination of external suppliers, contractor resources and maintaining an approved supplier list. You will have management responsibility for one direct report at coordinator level whose main tasks are the coordination of supplier interactions and volume transactions.

About you:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is ready to take on a new challenge and the next step in their career who has a wide supplier management experience with some contract management and negotiation skills. The successful candidate will be an innovative thinker, a creative problem solver, effective influencer and be excited to respond to the ever-changing business environment.

There will be development opportunities to expand on individual commercial awareness, leadership and you will play an active role in shaping the future and success of this position.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Previous experience in an operational and/or commercial or highly compliant working environments.
  • Supply Chain or buying experience.
  • Experience of tactically negotiating contracts/agreements and developing strategic plans.
  • Demonstrated the ability to manage cost efficiency with customer service proposition requirements.
  • Understanding of aviation industry, pricing strategies and marketplace (Desirable)
  • Best practice and latest thinking in supplier management processes and contract management. (Desirable).
  • Team management experience (Desirable)
