Job Description

The Team

The U.K. & Ireland is our domestic and most mature market. Functions include commercial, operations and marketing, and teams in the UK&I partner closely with global functions such as product, technology, marketplace and consumer to deliver results for our customers. The SMB Team is responsible for nurturing new partners on our platform, guiding them to their first order and demonstrating how to make the most out of the tools available to them. The Small & Medium Business Team (SMB Team) also generates new business for Deliveroo promoting B2B products to new and existing restaurant partners.


The Role

As a Restaurant Onboarding Associate, you will be supporting our newly signed partners within their first 2 months of being on the Deliveroo platform. You will be the link between the restaurants and Deliveroo. An agent's role is to ensure the partner is fully competent with the tools provided, ensuring they are building up for success. You will use your influencing skills to encourage our partners in creating adverts and making their menu stand out on our platform.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Work cross-functionally within our Manchester Team which consists of Sales and Account managers to ensure our partners have a smooth journey with Deliveroo

  • Own the relationship with newly signed restaurants ensuring they are built for success

  • Your key objective is to build a continued relationship with our partners so they remain engaged with us and build trust

  • You will be their point of contact for any issues within the first 2 months

  • Handling a large number of outbound calls in a timely manner

  • Keep up to date with the relevant administrative tasks for each restaurants you manage

  • Ensure partners are successful resulting in consistent order takings on our platform throughout their journey with Deliveroo

  • Making sure restaurants are fully comfortable with our processes and systems so that they can make the most of their new partnership

  • Act as the liaison between restaurant and photography team



Requirements

  • A strong phone presence with excellent communication and listening skills

  • The confidence and motivation to make regular calls

  • IT literate (including a range of Microsoft software. Salesforce knowledge desirable)

  • Great organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Experience in account management, sales or customer service desirable

  • Ability to take ownership and work within demanding targets

  • Emotional intelligence and empathy

  • Get up and go attitude
