Job Description

Siemens Healthineers is looking for an experienced and collaborative Customer Support Lead to join our inclusive team in Belfast. The role comes with a generous salary, many excellent benefits and the chance to work in a prime Belfast location. This is a full-time role that comes with some weekend and evening work on call.

As a Customer Support Lead, you will work within the on-site Siemens Healthineers team delivering a range of medical engineering services in line with the Managed Equipment Service (MES) contract. The service is provided in accordance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and aims to create and maintain consistently high customer and staff satisfaction.

If you were already in this role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:

  • Providing 1st line technical/application support to the customer and assisting in the effective resolution of critical issues
  • Receiving customer information, determining priority, and evaluating system condition
  • Liaising with external suppliers to arrange repairs/service of medical equipment
  • Working with colleagues, taking ownership of customer issues, planning and executing actions that will result in the most effective resolution for the customer
  • Overseeing preventative, corrective maintenance and proactive onsite visits to ensure work is conducted in an appropriate manner

To succeed in this flexible role, you should have an appropriate engineering or clinical background, preferably within a medical imaging/radiology context, together with technical and/or applications product knowledge. You will also need:

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and excellent customer communication skills
  • The ability to work autonomously within a team structure and make timely and professional decisions with minimum management input
