The role is within the team providing operational support to the Loan Originations Businesses within EMEA (Relationship Lending, Leveraged Finance, Acquisition Finance, IED Margin Lending, FID Secured Lending and Commercial Real Estate).

What will you be doing?
The role will involve interaction and collaboration with senior stakeholders within both Operations as we as Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Legal and Finance
Management of AML clearance process, including client creations and setup internally,
Review of draft Loan documentation,
Closing and initial funding of deals where Morgan Stanley acts as Arranger or Lender, • Working closely with appropriate groups on the internal booking structure,
Ensuring accurate set up and booking of transactions in the firm's books and records,
Recognition of fee income as well as break management and resolution.
Ensuring that desktop procedures, including workflow diagrams and checklists, are kept up to date and maintained appropriately,
Identifying actionable ideas to improve efficiency and/or deliver a measured improvement and track the idea through to delivery,
To actively participate and assist with the delivery of ad hoc projects. #LI-RW1
What we’re looking for:
Proven Operations experience in a financial services institute,
Quick learner with a risk and control focus, Loan IQ experience preferable/ strong background with Loan systems,
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be comfortable working with all management levels and interacting with a global workforce,
Team player, collaborative
Ability to build excellent working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders,
Strong organization skills, ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines,
Ability to drive change and improve daily processes in the workplace delivering both capacity and control,
Self-motivated and willing to assume extended responsibility,
Assumes ownership of problems and drives towards their resolution,
Displays high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks appropriately.
