A new opportunity is here for you to join our eclectic and dynamic Supply Chain and Logistics team, as our Logistics & Customs Administrator. This is a great opportunity for those with limited experience within the Supply Chain and or FMCG - Food industry.
This is a full-time, permanent role: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:30, based in our South London office in Herne Hill.
Applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK. There is currently no Visa sponsorship for this role.
PRIMARY PURPOSE
To ensure the department’s administration is compliant & completed in a timely and effective manner.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Receive, check and process in our systems any 3Pls invoices relating to logistics costs.
· Assist with accounts queries regarding Logistics Cost invoices.
· Liaise with 3PLs (hauliers, freight forwarders, warehouses) regarding any invoice discrepancies that occur.
· Book and record transport for samples.
· Assist the Import & Export Coordinator with filing, checking and processing all documentation required for Customs clearance purposes.
· Help to compile information for reporting.
· Undertake any Customs audit trail requests.
· Provide confirmation of receipt when suppliers request it
· Monitor, update and report on fuel prices trend.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
· NAV experience beneficial but not essential.
· Well organised and able to work accurately and efficiently.
· Be able to work with multiple stakeholders both internal and external.
· Capable of juggling several work streams at once.
· Good knowledge of Excel
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum
