We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident candidate to come and work with us as Intern within our busy Oncology in the Hospital for Small Animals at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies.
The Opportunity:
The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies offers an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian to join our Oncology team on the modern Easter Bush campus on the outskirts of the Scottish capital. The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies has an international reputation in Cancer Research and Clinical Oncology, creating an ideal environment for postgraduate training. Our clinical unit includes the Riddell Swan Cancer Centre, a purpose built cancer facility housing state-of-the-art imaging and radiotherapy facilities (Varian Medical Systems VitalBeam linear accelerator) and supports the expanding medical and radiation oncology service.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Veterinary degree and eligibility for MRCVS
- Fluent in English written and spoken
- Engaging and communicative personality
- Interest in and enthusiasm for oncology
